The new system is powered by more than 3,500 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and integrates artificial intelligence across Roche's entire pipeline. It leverages NVIDIA's healthcare AI platform to scale biological modeling for faster target identification and molecule optimization. A key innovation is the "Lab-in-the-Loop" approach, where real-world experimental data continuously refines the AI's predictive models in near real time. This creates a dynamic feedback loop intended to make the discovery process more adaptive and efficient than relying on static datasets.
In parallel, NVIDIA has unveiled a separate foundation model with significant implications for surgery. The Isaac GR00T model is designed to train next-generation robots, including those for assisted surgery, by learning complex physical tasks in simulation. AI Expands in Consumer Health and Faces Ethical Scrutiny
